2011.2.9 The International Symposium "Strategic Collaboration between European and Japanese Industry for Standardization"

The Symposium titled "Strategic Collaboration between European and Japanese Industries for Standardization" was held on the 9th February 2011 at Keio University. The experts from companies in the EU who lead the field of standardization in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) addressed how companies are strategically involve in standardization. From the Japanese, both NECA and their member companies introduced their past efforts; shared perspectives on it; and discussed how business circles in the EU and Japan can collaborate more closely in the future. More than 150 people attended and were intensely involved with the entire course.
