What is the EUSI?

EUSI (EU Studies Institute in Tokyo) is a Japanese centre for academic education, research and outreach activities on EU related issues. It is managed by a Consortium consisting of three universities in Tokyo: Hitotsubashi University, Keio University and Tsuda College.

The EU Studies Institute in Tokyo (EUSI), sponsored by the European Commission, is a consortium of Hitotsubashi University, Keio University and Tsuda College, established to encourage education, research and outreach activities on EU-related topics. EUSI was established on April 1, 2009 and undertook many practical activities in these three areas.

The EU Studies Institute in Tokyo (EUSI Tokyo) was formally launched on 1 April 2009 after a period of preparation beginning in December 2008. EUSI Tokyo is a consortium of Hitotsubashi University, Keio University and Tsuda College, sponsored by the European Commission. It promotes academic education, research, and activities spreading public knowledge of the EU in Japan.
